On Friday January 16, 2015 WFSB's Matt McFarland stopped by JMA to profile one of our top students, Nicole Ellis. Nicole, a Vernon resident, chose JMA as her high school choice rather than her home distict and is quite happy with her decision. Working with Mr.Hodges, her Radio Production teacher, she has developed an incredible passion for the use technology as a learning tool, especailly the art of animation.

Led by JMA faculty member Jaime Verab,  the boys varsity soccer team was awarded the
George D. Ritchie SportsmanshipAward by Hartford Public Schools for the 2014 season.
Congrats to all JMA soccer players and thank you Mr.Verab for your support!

JMA Seniors, member of teacher Donna Frustere's Visual Arts Portfolio class put the laptops away and picked up a paint brush to complete their class assignment.
